    That is great news. The Vita will never sell as many units as the 3DS, simply because there are a lot more under-13 children out there than core gamers. But considering the Vita's target audience, I think this is not bad at all!

    A great (albeit slow) start for a great system.

    While that may be true in Japan, it may not be necessarily true by Christmas of this year.

    Even by Christmas I don't expect the Vita to outsell the 3DS, as much as I'd like it to. The market for the 3DS is simply a lot bigger. Just keep in mind that at no time in history sales figures have had any relation with quality. The commercial successes of underwhelming systems like the Wii and the DS are the ultimate proof of that.
