Trade PS3 without warranty sticker?

I know GameStop will not trade a PS3 without the warranty sticker (the sticker above the screw on the bottom that tells them you have opened the PS3). I started to repair my Blu-ray lens before deciding just to purchase a new PS3 and sell this one, so it's gone. Does anyone know if Amazon's trade-in will take it without the sticker? It looks like I'd get around 110 for it and I figure they're probably just going to refurb it anyway, so perhaps they are more lenient about taking it. Anyone know? Hoping not to have to resort to eBay.
