    That's what the rumors are. Plus, considering one of the holes next to that port have screw threading, i'm assuming it's going to be a cable that they want to make sure stays in.

    It will be very interesting to see how/if they use this, the Vita has bluetooth so any sort of attachment could use that. Lots of products have extension ports but sometimes they are never used.. I hope for TV out too!

    well my dad says its a Ethernet cable to get wifi whiles connected to the wireless router

    its a accessory port hope they make a device where you plug the psvita to the tv using it

    Because it's a port and not a cable...It also looks nothing like an Ethernet port. You can only use wifi and 3G on the Vita.

    I guarantee you personally it's not an ethernet anything. I'm a computer tech and I know things; and this is one of the things I know. :)
