PSN sub accounts.

I rang Sony up today to ask if there was any way to let me use all of the social features on my vita.
As I couldn't use the skype,facebook,flicker or tweet apps with my sub account.The guy that answered the phone was acutely understandable,and gave me full access to all the above apps.He said I wouldn't be able to use near until I turn 18 in a couple of months,but he did reasure me that it would work when I did.I'm happy now as I dont have to make a brand new account and loose all my trophies and downloaded games.I was told this wasn't possible,So good on you Sony.

I lied about my age.

I wish I had done that at the start aswell.It would have saved me a lot of hassle

There's no harm in lying your age to a website. I did it all the time when I was under 18 (a looong time ago). Unless they ask for a credit card upon sign-up (like, say, an MMO) it's all good.

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything, but what was the urgency in having those social apps active on your Vita. You're probably surrounded by computers and smart phones majority of the time that have better capabilities for those features than what the Vita offers.

I have the apps installed on my Vita, but I hardly use them because my computer and phone does a better job.


Just curious because everyone wants those apps and youtube and whatever else NOW, but they have easy access to those features through a PC or phone.

I understand were you are coming from,but i have a 3g vita which i find myself useing its internet and social apps all the time,and a 3g vita means I can use them anywere,plus I dont have a mobile phone. So I use my vita much more than I use my pc for it.Like right now as im replying to this thread off my vita.

The main problem of sub accounts is you can't play online on alot of games

What games have you had trouble with,cause ive never had a problem joining online games?
