From a technical standpoint i respect and am excited for this game, however from a plot/presentation standpoint its a mixed plate of love=hate situation. It's made by the same guys who did folklore for PS3, but looks like one of those strange rpg's called persona or something. still though, if all else fails, Apples.
Well apparently a retailer, Game, announced that a Gravity Rush demo for the EU will be released May 30 only in the EU. NA is looking to get this demo, but unsure as to when. Update: NA coutries will be getting this demo on May 29th Source
Well GAME is just one of several retailers. Apparently they reported on information they had from a meeting with Sony. It doesn't mean the demo won't also be available in the US around the same time. I don't Sony has made an official announcement regards either the EU or US yet.
Not that I need a demo, but are there any links to the source? Also, this makes no sense as a selling stand point. Why spend money making a demo just to limit who gets it, thus losing the opportunity to sell more copies?
It's not an official source but I wouldn't say it's totally invalid because of that. Apparently this came from a meeting they had with Sony and retailers have been correct about certain information in the past sometimes. It may well be true. I would think if it is then the demo will also be released in North America around the same time.
"Yes, that does mean we'll likely see a demo here in North America as well, it's just a question of when. "
joystiq is one of the most reliable sources, IGN is as bias as a little 8 year old boy with his 3DS, and other sites don't seem to post things as fast or cover as much ground as joystiq.
At no point does the source say that NA will not get the demo. The US could very well get the demo sooner because nobody knows the US release date for it.
Yeah, i tried the japanese one. You couldn't even do what you wanted! If you go in a different direction for one second, you'll have to restart at a certain point. Horrible
It was the way you worded it in the first post. Made it sound like those in the US were not getting it with the whole "what about us" quote. Would have been better just to say "US demo release is still undetermined". Again, it is not that big of a deal. Everyone will get the demo eventually. I personally do not need one because the game is already preordered.
fix'd it. I am looking forward to this title, I just got a little jittery and excited to see the demo coming out. Sorry if I screwed up :/
