      I'm not going to discuss Uncharted further in that thread seeing as I haven't actually played it, I'm just basing my opinion on what I have seen of it. When I do finally get to play the Uncharted series my opinion may change.

        If anything, try U2 if you can get your hands on a PS3 some time. For me it's the very definition of engaging and immersive gameplay (indeed in spite of being completely linear).

        I am looking at getting a PS3 in the near future but right now a Vita is higher up on my list; which I will definitely be getting this year. Is Golden Abyss worth buying? I may give that a go when I get my Vita.

        I thought Nintendo would win. They had another disappointing, mediocre presentation with the Wii U, IMO. I'm still not convinced that I need to buy this system anytime soon. I'm even more letdown that they had to make yet another NSMB game when the 3DS installment has yet to release. I wanted an open world game.

        But I think the true reason behind people saying the Vita has no games is because the schedule for the year is ridiculously empty. So far they've just announced port after port with the occasional remake. No reason to own a Vita for that. Gravity Rush is the kind of games we need way more of, counting on E3 but not getting my hopes up for 2012.

        Uncharted, Everybody's Golf, Wipeout, Lumines, Mortal Kombat, BlazBlue, Gravity Rush (almost out), Marvel vs. Capcom, Motorstorm RC, Velocity... All of them are highly polished, deep games with lots of content. Compare that to the shallow mini games that Nintendo keeps churning out. Vita destroys the 3DS in every way but sales figures.

        Actually, now that I think of it. This is likely a defensive patent application. Sony don't intend to use it, but could be a huge nuisance to e.g. Apple if they ever decide to make a console. It would basically make it impossible to bring iAd or sponsored FreeToPlay titles to their gaming ecosystem.
